Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

Join Our Team: If you are interested in gaining insights into the operations of our Group Finance division, we invite you to consider a temporary position as a Financial Accountant / Group Accountant. This role offers flexibility with part-time options available (minimum of 30 hours per week).
The ACR team within Group Finance plays a crucial role in managing regular accounting tasks and payment transactions, as well as preparing the HGB financial statements for our entities. Additionally, the team oversees the organization of Group financial reporting, which includes the recording, processing, and consolidation of financial data, along with the preparation of comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and quarterly reports, and participating in Group forecasting and long-term planning.
- Providing autonomous support to various reporting units.
- Engaging in the preparation of Group financial reports and internal financial documentation.
- Ensuring the quality of individual financial statements included in the consolidated reports.
- Reviewing and compiling Solvency II documentation.
- Contributing to projects focused on financial reporting and process enhancement.
Your Qualifications:
- A completed degree in fields such as auditing, taxation, finance, or business mathematics.
- Proficient knowledge of IFRS reporting, with familiarity in the latest accounting standards IFRS17/9 and Solvency II being advantageous.
- Experience in the accounting practices of insurance firms and/or Group accounting under IFRS.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Competent in both German and English.
- A structured approach to work complemented by strong analytical skills.
