Join Our Team as a System Administrator / IT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator / IT Specialist to join our team at naturstrom AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration of IT systems, including Linux and MS-Windows, and database systems, such as Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of IT systems, including Linux and MS-Windows, and database systems, such as Oracle
  • Administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues in energy industry applications at the configuration level
  • Occasional creation of database queries
  • As needed, planning, implementation, and installation of new systems

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in the IT sector, such as System Integration or similar
  • Alternatively, completed higher education in the IT sector, such as Computer Science or similar
  • Ideal 1-2 years of work experience in the IT sector, such as System Administrator, IT Specialist, System Engineer, Application Manager, Database Administrator, etc.
  • Good experience in database administration and system administration for Windows and Linux, preferably in the energy industry
  • Knowledge of SQL and basic database architecture
