Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of customer orders and requests.
  • Monitoring delivery timelines, conditions, inventory levels, and pricing.
  • Generating order confirmations and related documentation.
  • Preparing essential documents for production and warehouse operations.
  • Clarifying and issuing invoices, credit notes, and applicable discounts.
  • Drafting quotations for systems and original parts, ensuring all calculations and inquiries are addressed.
  • Collaborating with technology, production, shipping, service, and customers to resolve missing information.
  • Identifying necessary information for quotation preparation independently.
  • Acting as a representative within the team and assuming various responsibilities.
  • Managing and supporting a designated customer base.
  • Initiating and overseeing new customer and part installations.
  • Conducting compliance checks and consulting with the legal department when necessary.
  • Maintaining pricing accuracy in the 'proAlpha' ERP system.
  • Organizing and documenting quotation and order records.
  • Storing customer and quotation information systematically.
  • Generating reports as per supervisory guidelines.
  • Providing technical assistance via phone and email, primarily in English and German, in collaboration with engineering or field service teams as needed.
  • Communicating technical details effectively to customers and internal teams.
  • Ensuring consistent customer engagement and care.
  • Assisting with promotional campaigns and mailings.
  • Addressing customer complaints efficiently.
  • Supporting marketing efforts with price adjustments and related tasks.
  • Occasionally visiting customers and attending trade events.

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training (industrial clerk) with relevant technical experience.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience post-training.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficient English language skills.
