The Senior Engagement Director (SED) is accountable for all client interactions within the designated account framework. The SED will develop a strategic plan for the Microsoft productivity suite, M365, and associated end-user computing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
The SED will undertake the following critical tasks within the assigned account framework:
- Collaborate closely with regional sales and account teams to enhance the Microsoft Productivity & Collaborative Applications presence within industry verticals across the region.
- Manage client relationships – cultivate connections with operational client personnel directly involved with the client's operations.
- Drive business growth – establish a portfolio valued at up to $20M, steering revenues within the defined account framework by overseeing the complete Opportunity Management Cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close. This includes identifying business prospects, presenting concepts to clients as necessary, and persuading clients to expand business based on proven capabilities and past successes.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis, develop proposals/pitches, validate estimates/efforts, deliver client presentations, and negotiate terms with clients.
- Ensure client delivery assurance – affirm Infosys' commitment to the client and facilitate the delivery process by collaborating with Delivery Managers within the business unit.
- Work alongside the Delivery Manager to resolve any personnel or infrastructure issues impacting project delivery for the specific client.
- Balance multiple projects for the client that may involve various delivery managers or resources from different competency units.
- Introduce go-to-market solutions to accounts within the designated scope – responsible for generating revenue from go-to-market solutions sponsored by the business unit.
- Partner with the Solutions Leader to create tailored solution pitches for the target account, driving both revenue and delivery of these solutions.
- Oversee account planning and governance – fully responsible for all Client Management processes – Plan-Sell-Deliver-Manage.
- Develop a comprehensive account plan detailing required relationships, opportunities to pursue, expected revenue from these opportunities, and potential threats and weaknesses to address.
- Make pricing decisions within the framework of the Master Services Agreement.
- Support pre-sales proposals for new business initiatives.
- Provide essential insights for establishing future partnerships with relevant product vendors.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in business development related to Microsoft 365 and associated technologies.
- Proven track record of engaging and building relationships with CXO-level client contacts.
- Experience with Global Delivery Models is preferred.
- Experience managing large, multi-location consulting engagement teams is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success as an Account Manager in a rapidly expanding client relationship is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in proposal development and leading proposal presentations.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Diverse experience in IT and business consulting engagements.
This position requires travel and involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication through various channels is essential.
