Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Director to lead the construction of a major Data Center project.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coaching a team of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the execution of the Data Center project is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, meeting the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage a team of project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the project's successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that expenses are within approved budgets and that value engineering opportunities are identified and implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure a collaborative and successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding €100M.
  • Full right to work in Germany.
  • Able to provide own accommodation.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • German language skills preferred.
