About the Job
A Senior Solution Consultant will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefit of our solutions to partners, prospects, customers, and internally supporting our sales force. A Senior Solution Consultant as a member of our Presales team will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs which vary in complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Shorten the sales cycle by delivering flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
- Provide presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
- Act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales Representatives.
- Transform business requirements/challenges into Proof of Concept presentations.
- Develop and deliver high-quality OneStream presentations and demonstrations.
- Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall OneStream solutions.
- Improve/maintain standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
- Design, validate, and present Database & OneStream Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction.
- Develop and manage references through high-quality technical, professional client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Required Education and Experience
- Bilingual - English and German
- BS Degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology-related degree.
- Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
- 6+ years of experience in Database Management including building, developing, and deploying applications.
- Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers' landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of OneStream's Cloud solution.
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
- Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
- Must have the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer's needs.
- Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modeling.
- Background in Finance/Accounting.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous experience as a Services Consultant, Database Administrator, or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred.
