Head-Up Display System Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a System Design Engineer for Head-Up Displays (m/f/diverse) to join our System Engineering Team, focusing on User Experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conducting a thorough analysis of stakeholder requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborating with design engineers across various disciplines, including electrical, software, display technology, and mechanical, to define the product architecture.
  • Ensuring that all lifecycle stages—quotation, development, manufacturing, and maintenance—are appropriately addressed during the system design process.
  • Taking comprehensive responsibility for technical aspects (left side of V-cycle) to guarantee that all lifecycle requirements are met with optimal solutions regarding quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering Science (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, or related fields).
  • Extensive professional experience in technical projects, ideally within the Automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with Head-Up Display products or similar opto-mechanical devices is preferred.
  • Experience across multiple engineering disciplines is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS-Office tools.
  • Excellent command of both German and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong intercultural skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
