Lead Security Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Security & Privacy Architect (m/f/diverse) to enhance our Automotive Business Area.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Overseeing the technical aspects of security architecture throughout the entire lifecycle of automotive products and solutions.
• Defining security objectives for architectural components.
• Implementing security protocols at all levels (System Engineering, Hardware, and Software) to meet established security objectives.
• Integrating the outcomes of Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) into system design.
• Assessing, analyzing, and addressing security-related customer specifications.
• Reviewing existing solutions and components from both internal and external vendors.
• Creating proof-of-concept demonstrations for the specified security protocols.
• Assisting in the implementation, testing, and production of security-compliant products.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the secure integration of product security materials and key/certificate management in manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of security and privacy assets at System Engineering, Software, and Hardware levels.
• In-depth understanding of microcontroller security architecture, particularly Infineon Traveo-II (PPU, secure lifecycle, e-fusing) or Infineon Aurix (UCB, OTP).
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity measures for embedded systems (AutoSAR (CSM, SecOC, etc.), HSM-Firmware (MPU, SecureBoot, SecureUpdate)).
• Comprehensive knowledge of security and privacy assessment methodologies.
• Proficient in architecture modeling and related tools.
• Solid hands-on experience with embedded systems.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken); German language skills are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage projects professionally.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex topics to various stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
• Exceptional teamwork and intercultural competencies.
