The accounts payable division plays a crucial role in overseeing and executing all financial obligations to our suppliers and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining supplier profiles within the financial management system.
- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices efficiently.
- Verifying proper authorization levels and accurate coding for general ledger and cost centers.
- Adhering to the company's established operating procedures while managing payables data.
- Addressing inquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders promptly.
- Performing additional financial tasks as assigned by management.
- Engaging in ongoing communication with various vendors to manage expectations effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in an accounts department, particularly in accounts payable and credit card processing.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Background in customer service is preferred.
