We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Calibration Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our calibration laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our electrical measurement standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform calibration and isolation of malfunctions of complex precision measurement standards
- Calibrate customer test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) requiring measurement accuracies only available at the reference laboratory level
- Conduct inter-laboratory comparisons of reference level standards with other Army reference laboratories to validate accuracy
- Prepare test and certification reports for customer use, providing specific information such as assigned values, corrections, and measurement uncertainties for instruments being calibrated
- Meister Diploma or Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in a trades or crafts field directly related to the position
- 1-3 years of job-related experience as defined below
- Advanced journeyman trades and crafts experience that provided intensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents
- Office automation skills required
- German driver's license class B desired
