Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning application technology hardware, adjusting and configuring sensors, actuators, and control loops, as well as conducting error analysis and programming of PLCs
  • Executing process tests to ensure plant safety
  • Enhancing the operations of numerous robots regarding quality, availability, and cycle time while modifying application software
  • Updating and refining PLC programs
  • Educating teams from production and maintenance departments on PLCs
  • Managing and overseeing complex automation projects
  • Diagnosing and resolving PLC-related issues

Candidate Profile

  • Completed vocational training in a metal, IT, or electrical field, or a degree in mechatronics, electrical, or automation engineering
  • Extensive experience in PLC programming, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector
  • Proficient in Siemens Step7 controllers with a proven track record of project management through to final acceptance
  • Familiarity with joining techniques utilized in automotive production
  • Competent in MS Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
