Project Manager in Purchasing for Thermal Management

Job Description:

As a PreMaster in project purchasing, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of thermal management at Robert Bosch GmbH. Your primary responsibility will be to support the management of product lifecycle management, from market launch to rampdown, and contribute to platform and related applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product lifecycle, from market launch to rampdown, and contribute to platform and related applications.
  • Cost Optimization Strategies: Implement cost optimization strategies, challenge engineering designs, and perform international cost comparisons and material cost analysis.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage supplier relationships, supply chain setups, and execute projects with agility, creativity, and strategic vision.
  • Global Customer Needs: Work with cross-functional teams to meet global customer needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, with a strong intention to pursue a Master's course.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Background in project purchasing, supply chain management, engineering, product management, or cost modeling skills, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and data analysis.
  • Personality and Skills: Dedicated, innovative thinker who excels under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses exceptional cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.

Working Practice:

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Work hybrid with the team, meeting in the office two to three times a week.
  • Language Skills: Very good in German and English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information:

The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. The program offers up to 12 months of practical experience as part of a gap year to learn about technical and business contexts, followed by a Master's course and further practical experience in the context of student employment, as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
