About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in our German Innovation Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing new technologies and product concepts, developing mechanical components or electronic modules, and working on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout and qualification of modules and whole electro-mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess new technologies and product concepts, including functional prototypes
  • Develop mechanical components or electronic modules, design electronic circuits or embedded software
  • Work on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout and qualification of modules and whole electro-mechanical systems
  • Design new user interface concepts for IoT devices or electronics backbone for an IoT infrastructure
  • Integrate innovative technologies into our world-class products
Requirements
  • You are a Master or PhD graduate from a European university with one of the following fields: Engineering (Mechanical-, Electrical-, Mechatronics, Industrial-, or equivalent) or Data Sciences (Mathematical Modelling & Simulation, Applied AI and Cloud Computing, Information System Technology, Technical Mathematics, or equivalent)
  • You have excellent academic results coupled with social engagement
  • You demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, a drive for leadership, and a strong passion for developing our newest smart platform technologies
  • You work effectively with diverse groups of international people by embracing creativity, innovation, curiosity, and initiative
  • You can communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken)
