As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and supply chain processes. You will be responsible for managing a large team of colleagues, including Shift Leads and Area Managers, and will be accountable for production schedules, quality and safety standards, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Shift Leads and Area Managers to achieve and exceed shift Key Performance Indicators through effective coaching, collaboration, and performance management.
- Own the operational performance within your designated shift, ensuring smooth workflow, optimising resource utilisation, and consistently meeting production targets.
- Champion clear communication, proactively keeping stakeholders informed and facilitating collaboration across departments.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Continuously improve and optimise operational processes, actively identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing or distribution centre/operational environment.
- Strong experience with managing large-scale operations with multiple management tiers.
- Demonstrates strong track record of team leadership in a rapid and process-driven environment.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, from peers to upper leadership.
- Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools like Excel/GSheets/Grafana/Tableau and using the data to influence business decisions.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments.
- A long-term mindset, committed to business impact.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willing to work in 3-shift operations, highly motivated, flexible, and a team player.
