Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at HelloFresh, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective running of production and supply operations during the shift. You will be responsible for managing a large team of colleagues, including Shift Leads and Area Managers, while being held accountable for production schedules, adherence to quality and safety standards, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Shift Leads and Area Managers on shift to consistently achieve and exceed all shift Key Performance Indicators on time through effective coaching, collaboration, and performance management.
  • Own the operational performance within your designated shift, ensuring smooth workflow, optimizing resource utilization to consistently meet production targets, and championing clear communication.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Continuously improve and optimize operational processes, actively identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing or distribution center/operational environment.
  • Strong experience with managing large-scale operations with multiple management tiers.
  • Demonstrates strong track record of team leadership with a large-scale rapid and process-driven environment.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, from peers to upper leadership.
  • Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools like Excel/GSheets/Grafana/Tableau and using the data to influence business decisions.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments.
  • A long-term mindset, committed to business impact.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • You are willing to work in 3-shift operations, are highly motivated, flexible, and a team player.
