iDeals is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth and expansion in the EMEA region. As a Director of Business Development, you will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals, fostering collaboration and driving revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of field sales professionals, fostering collaboration and driving business growth
  • Manage business development metrics and drive functional outcomes
  • Recruit and onboard experienced sales professionals, ensuring a rapid onboarding process
  • Attract high-potential individual contributors and scale across field sales teams
  • Encourage continuous learning and development within the team
  • Mentor and coach team members to meet personal and business goals
  • Drive the performance appraisal process for the team
  • Define operational metrics for the team
  • Align with marketing, product, customer success, finance, and executive teams around objectives
  • Cultivate new business and develop partnerships
  • Support closure of strategic deals and nurturing partnerships to ensure both immediate and long-term success
Requirements
  • 10 years of hands-on experience in new business development sales with 4+ years of outbound sales managerial experience
  • Experience with managing high-velocity and volume sales strategy
  • Professional sales background within the B2B SaaS industry
  • Solid experience in system transactional sales, sales methodology, and techniques, sales and negotiation practices
  • Experience selling in more than one geographic area
  • Experience hiring, motivating, coaching, and developing teams
  • Profound leadership skills with a passion for talent growth and building high-performing collaborative teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
