About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated software professional to join our software frameworks development team for instrument connectivity and control software. As a key member of our team, you will drive end-to-end integration and standardization for our customers in life-science development, manufacturing, QC, and service lab operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop integration layers, information models, and interfaces for end-to-end integration of analytical equipment and their control and data systems.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary project team (developers, testers, marketing, support, scientists).
  • Provide application developer support to business.
  • Work in a mixture of on-site and remotely.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Typically 4+ years relevant experience developing software.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio tools in C#,.NET, MS Visual Studio, Microsoft Windows OS.
  • Network topologies, industrial networking standards, communication protocols, and communication patterns.
  • Very good spoken and written communication in English.

Desired Qualifications

  • Scrum/Agile development team experience.
  • Software configuration management and DevOps infrastructure (Git, Atlassian toolset, Jenkins).
  • Software architecture, object-oriented programming methodologies, security concepts.
  • IT/OT system integration in industrial environments, process industry or pharmaceutical (Pharma, NAMUR-MTP), Industrial communication standards, OPC-UA, MQTT.
  • Good spoken German.
