As the fastest-growing new business agency over the past three years, we are seeking support for our central Business Development team in Düsseldorf to assist in managing and coordinating new client acquisition efforts.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as the key liaison between client teams and stakeholders, overseeing the pitch process and ensuring all elements are cohesively managed. Our team supports all brands (Starcom, Zenith, Spark Foundry) and collaborates closely with colleagues from Publicis Groupe. Your expertise will place you at the forefront of our initiatives, both locally and internationally:
- Manage projects and act as an internal consultant for local, regional, and global new business and defense pitches from initial contact to decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with client teams and other stakeholders within Publicis Media (Commercial, Value Management, Studio Design), as well as across the agency in our Power of One model.
- Prepare internal and external reporting for Publicis Media (e.g., RECMA, COMvergence) and assist in business and market analyses.
- Develop and enhance agency credentials, case studies, and pitch materials.
- Oversee cross-agency client tracking and database management.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and plan and implement strategic client acquisition initiatives.
- Work hand in hand with our international colleagues, particularly the Business Development Hub in London and New York.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a media agency, with active involvement in pitch projects.
- Ideally, you have experience in business development and have participated in pitch processes.
- You are an organizational expert with coordination skills, maintaining composure and humor even in high-pressure situations.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- You demonstrate initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to challenges ('impossible' is not in your vocabulary).
- Fluent in English and accustomed to cross-border communication.
