Join Uniper's Team as a Business Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing commercial business support to our commodity trading and long term origination business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Controlling for commodity trading business including long term origination deals
  • Acting as business partner and counterparty to commodity trading/long term origination business
  • Creating transparency on financial and economic performance with deviation analysis
  • Coordination of Mid Term Planning and projections
  • Challenging deviations critically and developing innovative ideas
  • Driving valuation of projects/business plans and giving recommendations for decision making
  • Using financial know-how to give positive impulses to the business units
  • Collaborating in multifunctional projects and at internal interfaces
  • Preparing management presentations
Requirements:
  • Excellent degree level in Business Administration/Finance or Economics
  • Sound controller know-how with a thorough understanding of the energy environment
  • Strong analytical mindset and passion for translating corporate/business issues into financial key data
  • Intrinsically motivated, thinking outside boxes, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to take responsibility for work carried out independently
  • Fluent English language skills
