Position: IT Inhouse Consultant at Telefónica

As an IT Inhouse Consultant at Telefónica, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our IT landscape. This position requires a blend of project management, expertise in technology, and innovative thinking to propel critical internal initiatives that are vital for our success. You will leverage your skills to motivate teams, embrace cutting-edge technologies, and serve as a key liaison among various departments.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Management of IT Project Portfolio: Lead IT projects utilizing agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies while fostering strong relationships with vendors.
  • Driving Innovation: Establish clear objectives and a seamless transition strategy towards the BizDevOps model, actively guiding the process with all relevant parties.
  • IT Strategic Roadmap: Create and oversee a comprehensive roadmap for all stakeholders involved in IT delivery.
  • Cloud Strategy: Influence IT delivery by integrating new architectural frameworks, public cloud solutions, agility, DevOps practices, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the IT budget effectively in close partnership with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and oversee the performance of external partners within an outsourcing framework and diverse cultural settings.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in consulting roles.
  • Proficiency in IT controlling with a strong affinity for numerical analysis and processes.
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Project Portfolio Management within an internal IT framework.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and strong analytical skills.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with COBIT Governance Framework, SAFe, LeSS, etc.
