About the Organization

Our organization is an expanding healthcare firm, supported by a reputable private equity partner, focused on enhancing their network through a strategic acquisition and integration strategy. Their goal is to deliver outstanding patient services while fostering growth and operational effectiveness throughout their network. They are currently in search of a Financial Controller to become part of their team and assist them during this dynamic growth phase. Role Overview

The Financial Controller will act as a key advisor to the Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director, medical facilities, clinics, and external financial consultants. This position entails independently managing controlling activities for designated locations, with consistent reporting to senior management. Core responsibilities encompass the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and annual operational plans, aiding in budget discussions, and delivering thorough financial analyses and reports.
  • Engage actively in organizational development and serve as a strategic partner for senior leadership
  • Conduct controlling business collaboration for the commercial leaders and medical professionals of the healthcare facilities and clinics
  • Oversee controlling operations for designated locations
  • Manage the consolidation of financial outcomes and generate reports for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and supervise the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Develop and monitor business strategies, budgets, forecasts, and special reports
  • Execute variance analyses and special evaluations
  • Refine and enhance internal reporting frameworks, key metrics, and processes
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal guidelines
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance concepts, tools, and processes in finance and controlling
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields
  • Extensive experience in a Controlling or Finance role, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Prior exposure to private equity stakeholders is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with financial software such as Datev and LucaNet is appreciated
  • Proficient in standard MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excel/BI modeling capabilities are a plus
  • Proactive approach and readiness to engage in hands-on tasks
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-centric mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Fluency in both German and English
