Mobility Engineer

- Network Development: Design and enhance networks for tram, bus, and H-Bahn systems.
- Infrastructure Design: Create plans for street and traffic facilities, including Park and Ride (P+R) and Bike and Ride (B+R) locations, as well as railway stations and level crossings.
- Transport Planning Collaboration: Engage in the revision of local transport strategies.
- Mobility Master Plan Participation: Contribute to the 'Internally and Externally Networked City' sub-concept as part of the Mobility Master Plan 2030.
- Implementation of Strategies: Execute initiatives derived from the Mobility Master Plan 2030.
- Approval Procedures: Assist in processes mandated by the Passenger Transport Act or the General Railway Act.
- Grant Applications: Prepare applications for funding public transport initiatives.
- Expert Oversight: Supervise assessments conducted by external agencies.
- Coordination: Manage complex matters with relevant departments, neighboring authorities, and transport organizations.
- Planning Statements: Draft statements from a public transport planning viewpoint within other specialist planning frameworks.
- Decision Preparation: Create templates for decisions and present findings to political entities.
- Reporting Maintenance: Oversee the reporting system, including inquiries and political decisions.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities.
- Organized work approach; project management experience in relevant areas.
- Proactive attitude and strong sense of accountability.
- Friendly and confident interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of legal frameworks and guidelines, particularly PBefG, AEG, BOStrab, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to pursue further training and embrace new challenges.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (e.g., QGIS) and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Project management expertise is a plus.
