About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with regional managers to develop and implement logistics strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with delivery service partners to identify and execute value-creation opportunities, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and capacity standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to business owners, helping them to overcome operational challenges and improve financial, operational, and safety practices.
  • Travel between multiple sites to engage with business owners and ensure effective execution of logistics operations.
About the Team

Amazon Logistics is a dynamic and innovative team that handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in operations, last-mile delivery, or account management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to find solutions to operational problems.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking and writing.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changing priorities.
