Expert Biostatistician in Clinical Research

Role Summary:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the research and development of clinical biomarkers, contributing significantly to our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical expertise to interdisciplinary teams, ensuring responsible collaboration.
- Design and implement statistical strategies tailored to the unique requirements of our biomarker initiatives, focusing on clinical validation and the introduction of new biomarkers.
- Develop comprehensive statistical designs and analysis plans, executing analyses with statistical programming in R, while meticulously documenting your processes and communicating results effectively.
- Engage with national and international teams in the execution of clinical trials, emphasizing product quality and the formulation of statistical algorithms for clinical applications.
- Collaborate on complex projects with subject matter experts, translating intricate tasks into actionable statistical analyses.
- Contribute actively to our biostatistics group, fostering the sustainable development of our internal statistical portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences; a PhD with a focus on Statistics is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in applied statistics, ideally within the industry, with a focus on clinical studies, statistical design of experiments (DoE), quality control, or product validation.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies, including ANOVA, linear mixed-effects models, logistic regression, and survival analysis.
- Extensive programming proficiency, particularly in R or SAS.
- Exceptional organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
- Fluency in English is essential.
