Your Role:
In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in the advancement of clinical biomarker research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical expertise to interdisciplinary teams, ensuring responsible support for various projects.
- Develop tailored statistical strategies to meet the unique requirements of biomarker projects, focusing on clinical validation and the introduction of new biomarkers.
- Create comprehensive statistical designs and analysis plans, conducting analyses using statistical programming in R, while meticulously documenting your work and communicating statistical findings.
- Collaborate with national and international teams on clinical trials, ensuring product quality specifications and the development of statistical algorithms for clinical applications.
- Engage with subject matter experts to translate complex tasks into actionable statistical analyses.
- Contribute actively to our biostatistics group, fostering the sustainable development of our internal statistical portfolio.
- Master's or Diploma in statistics, mathematics, or natural sciences; a PhD with a focus on statistics is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in applied statistics, ideally within the industry, particularly in clinical studies, statistical design of experiments (DoE), quality control, or product validation.
- Strong foundational knowledge in statistics, including ANOVA, linear mixed-effects models, logistic regression, and survival analysis.
- Extensive programming experience, preferably in R or SAS.
- Excellent organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
- Proficient command of English.
