Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality and Development Professional to join our team in the Transportation department. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve supplier quality and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supplier quality and safety strategies to ensure compliance with Vestas' quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, transportation, and supply chain teams to ensure effective supplier management and performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, procurement, and transportation teams.
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on Vestas' quality and safety standards and expectations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry background, including experience in transportation and supply chain management.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of transportation modes and supply chains.
  • Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other relevant standards and quality-safety certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
