Your Role
As an Academic Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching assigned academic modules, administering student assignments and exams, and developing curriculum materials. You will also provide consultation and mentoring to students, create assignment briefs and exams papers, and assess student progress throughout tutoring sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned academic modules according to the curriculum
- Administer, proctor, and mark student assignments and exams
- Develop curriculum materials, including syllabi and assignment briefs
- Provide consultation and mentoring to students
- Assess student progress throughout tutoring sessions
- Communicate effectively with students and convey passion for learning
- Maintain records of student assessment results and progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD or DBA, prior teaching experience in higher education, and excellent knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams. You will also need to be fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level) and have a working knowledge of educational platforms and timetabling software.
