We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lecturer to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, developing curriculum, and contributing to the growth and development of our institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess students in academic modules, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes and student satisfaction.

• Develop and implement curriculum, including designing and delivering lectures, workshops, and other teaching materials.

• Provide academic guidance and support to students, including mentoring, advising, and feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic policies and procedures.

• Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to decision-making and strategic planning.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching and learning.

• Contribute to the development of educational resources, including textbooks, online materials, and other teaching aids.

• Engage in research and scholarly activities, publishing papers and presenting at conferences.

• Participate in professional development opportunities, including training and workshops.

Requirements

• PhD or DBA in a relevant field, with a strong academic record and teaching experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.

• Fluency in English, with a strong command of written and spoken language.

• Knowledge of German is desirable, but not essential.

• Familiarity with educational platforms, including Canvas and Blackboard.

• Working knowledge of timetabling software and other academic systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
