Commercial Sustainability Specialist

About the Role

As a Commercial Sustainability Manager/Sales Manager, you will inspire companies to take effective climate protection measures, significantly contribute to expanding our customer base, and take responsibility for the entire sales process within an industry.

You will be responsible for convincing companies to implement our solutions for climate protection, understanding industry-specific requirements, optimizing your strategy for acquiring new customers, and overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent ClimatePartner at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to international corporations in your industry.
  • Have a passion for sustainability and climate protection.
  • Fluent in German (native level) and proficient in English.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or consulting.
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Structured, results-oriented, and able to build relationships and trust with potential customers through comprehensive consultation.
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bonus points for experience in the service, finance, or energy industries, as well as sustainability-related fields such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), carbon footprint, sustainability consulting, life cycle analysis, biodiversity, or renewable energy.
