Job Title: Field Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Applications Engineer to join our team at Cattron. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and developing solutions for our customers in the industrial automation sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to our sales team and customers to develop the appropriate technical solution and specification for each application.
  • Act as the point of contact for our sales managers to ensure that concepts align with product capabilities and clarify them with customers.
  • Address general questions about Cattron's products and services, particularly regarding product features, specifications, and application guidelines.
  • Liaise between product management, production, and sales in the EMEA region to ensure technical clarification of proposed concepts.
  • Assist with on-site commissioning of our systems and support our field service team when needed.
  • Discover new product possibilities while keeping market requirements in mind.
  • Find solutions for complex applications and present them to customers.
  • Represent Cattron at national and international trade shows and sales events.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical degree or comparable education.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience in control technology and automation technology.
  • Experience in OEM business is advantageous, and experience in radio remote controls is welcome but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn and open to new challenges.
