Senior Customs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Operations and Compliance Senior Specialist to join our team at ASICS Europe B.V. in Krefeld. As a key member of our EMEA Customs and Trade compliance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining effective customs processes and optimizing operational efficiency across regions.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure seamless product flow into and within the ASICS EMEA region by maintaining effective customs processes and compliance with customs and trade regulations.
- Optimize operational efficiency across regions by streamlining customs procedures and reducing costs.
- Develop and implement customs strategies to minimize risks and maximize compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with changing customs regulations and laws in the EMEA region, including the UK, ZA, NO, and CH.
- University degree in SCM, Logistics, Customs, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years professional experience in customs and import/export.
- Experience with AEO certification, SOP management, internal customs audits.
- Preferably holder of official training certificate as a Customs specialist accepted by German Customs Authorities.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and customs law in the EMEA region.
- Fluency in English and German (German fluent in written and spoken); French proficiency is a plus.
