**Job Overview**

NIO is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Expert for Autonomous Driving Systems to join our team in Munich/Berlin. As a key member of our AD Team, you will be responsible for providing expertise on Assisted Driving (ADAS) technical regulations in Europe and supporting the formulation of compliance strategies.

**Responsibilities**

  • Monitor and provide expertise on ADAS technical regulations in EU, UNECE, and current regulatory developments
  • Consult with internal stakeholders on technical regulatory requirements
  • Support the development of compliance strategies, including system type approval
  • Collaborate with internal development teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Work in a multicultural environment with English as the primary working language

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in vehicle engineering, computer science, software engineering, automation, or related fields
  • Knowledge of ADAS technical regulations in EU, UNECE, and current regulatory developments
  • Familiarity with European Type Approval (EU WVTA)
  • Familiarity with voluntary certification standards and current trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Possess excellent cross-team cooperation experience
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally
