This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates holding a BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields, who are ready to launch their careers within a global organization.

As a graduate participant, you will engage with some of the most innovative products in our Life Science Portfolio. Our dynamic organization is ever-evolving, ensuring an exciting and ambitious role within a growing international landscape. The primary responsibilities for our future team member will focus on establishing new and enduring customer relationships, ultimately driving sales. You will assist our clients in their research endeavors while providing exceptional sales representation for Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the account manager in identifying sales opportunities with both new and existing clients, successfully promoting company products and services to meet or exceed the designated sales objectives.
  • Coordinate sales activities within assigned accounts in alignment with approved sales and marketing strategies, collaborating closely with account managers.
  • Engage in sales training, product education, and marketing initiatives, as well as special projects, to enhance your selling skills.
  • Support the assigned sales manager during customer negotiations, including the preparation and follow-up of sales proposals.
  • Provide regular updates to team leaders and management regarding sales performance in collaboration with the supporting sales manager.
  • Maintain and expand the current customer database using customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of a BSc in Life Sciences is required.
  • Fluency in both German and English (minimum B2 level).
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a successful team and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • A positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
