About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer Trainer to join our team at Brooks Automation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering technical training programs for our internal staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the technical skills of our staff and identify areas for development
- Design and deliver training programs for internal staff and customers on site or at our Brooks Training Center
- Develop and manage quarterly and annual training plans
- Manage training participants through our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Contribute to the creation of e-learning content
- Develop technical training materials
- Collaborate with other departments, including Service, Support, and Engineering, to improve our training content
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our machines, processes, and acceptance criteria
- Provide weekly status reports to the Global Training Director
Requirements
- You have a degree in engineering, engineering sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- You have proven experience in practical technical training related to mechanical and electrical equipment and software, or as a customer support engineer or in the production area
- You are willing to travel approximately 30% of the time
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills
- You have experience working with cross-functional teams
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
- You have a high level of quality awareness and a meticulous approach to work
- You enjoy new challenges, are flexible, and have a strong team spirit
