Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer Trainer to join our team at Brooks Automation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering technical training programs for our internal staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the technical skills of our staff and identify areas for development and improvement.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal staff and customers on site or at our Brooks Training Center.
  • Develop and manage quarterly and annual training plans to ensure our staff and customers have the necessary skills to succeed.
  • Manage training participants through our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Contribute to the creation of e-learning content and technical training materials.
  • Collaborate with our Service, Support, and Engineering teams to continuously improve our training content.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our machines, processes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide weekly status reports to our Global Training Director.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in engineering, engineering sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have proven experience in practical technical training related to mechanical and electrical equipment and software or as a customer support engineer or in the production area.
  • You are willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
  • You have a high level of quality awareness and a meticulous approach to work.
  • You enjoy new challenges, are flexible, and have a strong team spirit.
