About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Accounts Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the technical relationship with our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the technical relationship with customers, providing expert advice on cloud computing and enterprise architectures.
  • Acting as an advocate for customers, helping to drive continual improvements to the AWS platform and informing the roadmap of AWS features and services.
  • Shaping the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
  • Defining and inventing cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Creating and sharing best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelizing and educating about AWS technology (e.g., through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).

Requirements
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
