Southeast Asia HR Director

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at DELO in Southeast Asia. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and hiring process, providing guidance and support to line managers and employees, and preparing employment contracts and other HR-related documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including drafting job advertisements and onboarding candidates
- Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR matters, including employment contracts, visa applications, and employee benefits
- Prepare and maintain HR work procedures and employee handbooks
- Identify training providers and organize training programs for the Southeast Asia team
- Contribute to strategic HR projects, including the establishment of a second production facility in Malaysia and the implementation of HR software
- Conduct research on compensation and benefits
- Perform ad-hoc HR tasks, including managing insurance packages and cooperating with universities
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience in Singapore (experience in Malaysia is a plus)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Law, HR, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in English (both oral and written)
- In-depth knowledge of Singaporean Labor Law (familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law is advantageous)
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficiency in MS Teams
- Willingness to travel as required
