Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to deliver exceptional technical support to our valued customers in the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in establishing strong relationships with key clients and collaborating with sales and distribution partners to achieve design wins that enhance revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with customers' engineering teams, serving as the primary technical support contact.
- Collaborate closely with AOS Sales and Product Line teams to advocate for new products and system solutions, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
- Act as an expert in power electronics, particularly in Motor Control and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Provide comprehensive design-in support to customers and distributors.
- Conduct technical training sessions for customers, distributors, and the AOS sales team.
- Engage in travel to customer locations for promotional activities and technical discussions.
- Identify and propose new product development opportunities to AOS Product Lines.
- Regularly report on design status and activities to the Regional Sales Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in analog hardware design, specifically for motor control and power supply applications.
- In-depth knowledge of MOSFETs, IGBTs, Driver ICs, and DC/DC controllers.
- Prior experience in technical customer support within the power semiconductor sector is preferred.
- Strong intercultural communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the EMEA region and occasionally to the USA and Asia, with an estimated travel ratio of 30-40%.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate global collaboration.
- Valid driver's license (Class B).
