About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic consulting or implementation team, working on IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate larger, Agile implementation projects or act as an independent leader of a project area
  • Lead complex business analysis, define functional requirements, design solutions, and mentor less experienced team members
  • Act as a team leader, Product Owner, a Scrum Master, or business architect as needed by the project
  • Supervise analytical works across multiple teams on a project
  • Build lasting relationships with clients' key personnel and leadership
  • Work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis
  • Lead your own area in the company, supported by an experienced supervisor
  • Support B2B sales activities

About the Requirements

You need:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance in an international environment
  • At least 4 years of experience in Guidewire systems implementation
  • Understanding of how insurance companies or banks work, having comprehensive, in-depth understanding of relevant processes and business models
  • Experience in the functional design of IT solutions and running IT implementations
  • To be creative, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to ensure quality of the deliverables of your team, by applying analytical thinking and synthesis skills
  • Ability to demonstrate team management skills and take responsibility for team results
  • Ability to work in Germany and the European Union on a full-time basis
  • At least a bachelor's degree
  • Great command of English and German language, being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers
