Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled API Software Developer to join our team at Hannover Re. As an API Software Developer, you will be responsible for establishing and further refining central API management, supporting the implementation and management of our interface landscape, and applying your knowledge of API standard protocols and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain API standards and protocols
  • Support the development and implementation of API-based solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API integrations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for API-based solutions
  • Identify and address API security vulnerabilities
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code

Requirements

  • Professional experience with software development and architecture, especially in the areas of API management and application integration
  • Expertise in application integration using Boomi or a comparable tool suite
  • Initial experience in the field of Enterprise Java, JMS, and Web services
  • Degree in computer science or a comparable field of study
  • Independent user skills in German and English
  • Independent, reliable, and structured working approach
