Position Overview:
As a key member of our Network Operations Centre (NOC), you will be essential in managing, configuring, and overseeing activities associated with our operational services.
Your role will involve delivering first and second line support to our users, overseeing Ground Operations, IT services, and Control Centre functionalities. You will be the primary contact for immediate service requests from clients.
In the Operational Control Centre (OCC) Team, you will manage IT hardware, local data centres, wiring facilities, and operational control environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation and upkeep of hardware components
- Cabling installation, testing, and management
- Management of spare parts and vendor relations
- Configuration oversight and preventive maintenance tasks
- Handling of service tickets (Incidents, Service Requests, and RfCs)
- Administration and configuration of various software applications
- Support for refurbishment initiatives and engineering projects
- Basic system administration on UNIX and Windows systems
Required Skills and Experience:
