Role OverviewAs the Team Leader for Quality Operations, you will be responsible for steering a dedicated group of Quality Engineers. Your focus will be on managing Non-Conformity, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and implementing Corrective Actions through various quality methodologies including Ishikawa, DOE, and APQP.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the Quality Engineering team, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Oversee performance metrics, recruitment, and career advancement within the team.
- Facilitate collaboration with departments such as Assembly, Integration & Test, Optics, SMT, and Testing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Play a pivotal role in the change control board, ensuring the effective execution of approved modifications.
- Lead quality operations initiatives, driving process enhancements and maintaining high-quality benchmarks.
- Engage in process development, establish KPIs, and adopt Industry 4.0 practices.
- Work collaboratively within a diverse team to innovate and refine quality requirements for exceptional outcomes.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and experience in multi-disciplinary projects.
- Familiarity with IT tools such as PowerBI, SQL, SAP, and MES.
- Experience in the aerospace sector is a plus.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and equipped with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in managing multicultural teams and nurturing the development of junior staff.
- A genuine passion for innovation, teamwork, and a dynamic work atmosphere.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
