The Role

As we advance towards fully digital tax operations, we provide businesses of various sizes and sectors with innovative software solutions and expert tax consulting services. In your role as a Consultant within our Tax team, you will bridge the gap between tax regulations and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Technology Development - In the rapidly evolving Tax Tech landscape, you will collaborate with tax and IT professionals to translate tax law requirements into our GlobalTaxCenter software. This involves objectifying tax regulations, BMF letters, and accounting standards (HGB, IFRS) for programming purposes. You will play a vital role in the ongoing enhancement of our software from the outset.
  • Implementation Support - Engage in exciting implementation projects, assisting tax departments with the technical deployment of our software, as well as CMS and ICS consulting initiatives.
  • Training and Development - We ensure our clients remain informed about the latest developments through webinars and training sessions. You will prepare necessary seminar materials and conduct training sessions. Participation in external tax expert groups will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Tax Expertise - A solid understanding of current legislation and its implications for the German Tax Technology sector is essential.
  • Analytical Skills - The ability to precisely analyze tax issues is crucial.
  • Passion for Tax Law - A keen interest in tax regulations, a diligent work ethic, and teamwork capabilities are important prerequisites.
  • Communication Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English (C1+) are required.
  • Professional Experience - While initial experience in income tax is beneficial, knowledge gained through academic studies is also valued.
  • Personal Attributes - Open-mindedness, positivity, critical thinking, motivation, proactivity, and a solutions-oriented mindset are highly regarded.
  • IT Affinity - A basic understanding of IT is advantageous for developing innovative solutions, though programming skills are not mandatory.
