Senior Data Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist (all genders) to become a vital part of our BI and Marketing Analytics (BIMA) division. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional experiences across our global brands.
BIMA operates within the Global Marketing team, focusing on centralized business intelligence and marketing analytics. Our mission is to leverage data-driven insights to fuel marketing initiatives and ensure sustainable growth. We engage in strategic projects that include customer segmentation, marketing return on investment analysis, and supporting executive-level decision-making across various brands and regions.

The Senior Data Analytics Specialist will be tasked with enhancing our marketing strategies through insightful data analysis and advanced analytical techniques. This position will work collaboratively with marketing leaders, product teams, data science professionals, and regional analytics groups to evaluate marketing effectiveness and refine our customer acquisition and retention approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage analytics to deliver actionable insights regarding marketing performance.
- Design and execute A/B testing and other experimental frameworks to evaluate marketing initiatives.
- Develop tools, key performance indicator frameworks, and reports to assess the return on investment of marketing expenditures, continuously monitoring and advising on marketing spend across various channels to optimize ROI.
- Analyze and enhance customer segmentation strategies to improve targeting in local markets and boost customer retention.
- Create statistical models to forecast customer lifetime value, assess customer acquisition costs, and utilize analytics to minimize costs while maximizing lifetime value.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and establish global guidelines for data collection and utilization.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, particularly focused on user retention within technology-driven consumer-facing organizations.
- Strong expertise in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a talent for translating data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and other experimental design methodologies.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including CRM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.
Additional Information:
- Experience in agile development and methodologies is a plus.
- Educational background in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, business, or related fields (BS, MS, or PhD).
- Expertise in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency within a global organization, along with experience in market mix modeling.
