Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate international biomass sourcing and trading prospects for Uniper's clientele and initiatives.
  • Establish and implement global sourcing and trading collaborations.
  • Develop and sustain a robust global network of biomass suppliers, consumers, logistics partners, and service providers.
  • Offer strategic, analytical, and commercial insights to support Uniper's projects and partnerships.
  • Utilize and enhance essential trading tools, reporting mechanisms, and risk management systems.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive annual international biomass business development strategy aligned with Uniper's overall biomass objectives.
  • Generate detailed reports on market trends, partnership opportunities, pricing forecasts, and associated risks.
  • Assist teams with international biomass-related inquiries and collaborate with relevant departments and consultants.
  • Engage with stakeholder teams to facilitate discussions with government entities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent Uniper at international biomass forums and industry conferences.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to foster and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
  • Familiarity with physical and financial commodity transactions.
  • Analytical and financial expertise, including experience with financial statements and risk assessment.
  • Proficient in planning and organizing, with a focus on prioritization and long-term strategic vision.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in biomass or sustainable fuels and systems.
