About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Certification Manager to join our team at FSC Global Development GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term health and resilience of the world's forests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage FSC Certification Process: Develop and implement a structure for informing and consulting the national accreditation body on changes to the FSC Normative Framework.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with relevant FSC teams and Assurance Services International (ASI) to ensure alignment of FSC requirements with ISO requirements.
  • Develop Requirements: Create and maintain requirements for ASI in accordance with FSC's standard setting procedure, comprising the requirements for the assessment process and reporting.
  • Manage Relationships: Foster strong relationships with the national accreditation body and European Accreditation members.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: MScs University or technical college degree in a relevant field, such as quality management, international relations, social sciences, or business administration.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of work experience in certification, quality management, or assurance, with knowledge and experience in implementation of ISO 17065 and related ISO requirements for accreditation.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven successful project management experience, and a strong sense of diligence and accuracy.
