About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Safety Specialist to join our team at FRESENIUS_HELIOS_HOSPITALS. As an Occupational Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational safety and health matters to management, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in a field such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
