Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Hyundai Motor Company. As a key member of our European Fuel Cell business, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to customers and advancing our European Fuel Cell system business.
Key Responsibilities:- Discover and promote European fuel cell demonstration projects
- Respond to local events and associations to promote hydrogen and fuel cell system brands
- Review technical and business feasibility of applying HMC fuel cell systems to customer applications
- Define and summarize engineering R&R between HMC and partners
- Receive and respond to inquiries and requests from partner companies
- Research and certification response to necessary laws and regulations for each major application
- Provide customer technical support, including system installation, commissioning, maintenance, and quality response
- Monitor major customer applications and analyze data on fuel cell system durability and driving patterns
- Receive and process customer claims after sales of fuel cell systems
- Analyze problems and root causes through data analysis and remote and on-site technical support
- Secure and maintain emergency parts in advance for urgent needs
- Maintain training, including regular training and on-site training for new customers
- Support establishment of base operation plans, goal setting, and reporting
- Assist local recruitment, training, and communication with headquarters
- Manage budget and purchase consumable materials and equipment
- Support activities at major European bases
- Participate in cooperation and funding projects on a European scale
- Support HMC fuel cell system and vehicle certification and local conformity assessment
- University degree in engineering or comparable qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position or specialization in fuel cell and/or hydrogen system development and evaluation
- Alternatively, 5+ years of automotive R&D experience, ideally in electric powertrain development and/or integration
- Fluency in English; any other language is an advantage
