About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Hyundai Motor Company. As a key member of our European Fuel Cell business, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to customers and advancing our European Fuel Cell system business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Discover and promote European fuel cell demonstration projects
  • Respond to local events and associations to promote hydrogen and fuel cell system brands
  • Review technical and business feasibility of applying HMC fuel cell systems to customer applications
  • Define and summarize engineering R&R between HMC and partners
  • Receive and respond to inquiries and requests from partner companies
  • Research and certification response to necessary laws and regulations for each major application
  • Provide customer technical support, including system installation, commissioning, maintenance, and quality response
  • Monitor major customer applications and analyze data on fuel cell system durability and driving patterns
Customer Support:
  • Receive and process customer claims after sales of fuel cell systems
  • Analyze problems and root causes through data analysis and remote and on-site technical support
  • Secure and maintain emergency parts in advance for urgent needs
  • Maintain training programs for new customers
HTWO Europe Office Operations:
  • Support establishment of base operation plans, goal setting, and reporting
  • Assist local recruitment, training, and communication with headquarters
  • Manage budget and purchase consumable materials and equipment
  • Support activities at major European bases
Local Fuel Cell Technology Trends:
  • Participate in European-scale cooperation and funding projects
  • Support HMC fuel cell system and vehicle certification and local conformity assessment
About You:
  • University degree in engineering or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related positions or specialization in fuel cell and/or hydrogen system development and evaluation
  • Alternatively, 5+ years of automotive R&D experience, ideally in electric powertrain development and/or integration
  • Fluency in English; any other language is an advantage
