Storage Solutions Engineer

As a Storage Solutions Engineer at Concat AG, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing robust storage infrastructures that ensure data integrity and accessibility. Your expertise will be essential in implementing high-availability storage solutions, particularly utilizing NetApp MetroCluster.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement high-availability storage architectures to guarantee data integrity.
- Configure and troubleshoot Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and capacity of storage systems for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with virtualization and system administration teams to enhance overall system performance.
- Oversee the lifecycle of storage devices, including necessary firmware updates and patch management.
- Create automation scripts to streamline storage management tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance of storage infrastructure with security protocols and industry standards.
- Work closely with IT security and governance teams to uphold best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support storage systems.
